I'd figured i'd update you guys on what's been happening. Band camp just got over, I just got back from an extra two hour marching practice after band camp got over a little while ago. I finally got a new web page after I couldn't get into my geocities account with my laptop. Some pop up blocker disables the scripted windows and I can't upload anything in it anymore. Anyway, I got a freewebs page now, so you can find it here: http://www.freewebs.com/spectrumrhapsody and while you're there, why not sign the guest book? :D I've still got work ot do on it. I'm also gettin' sick of having nightmares with my ex-boyfriend in them and this guy that wants to date me and I won't date him because I hate bein' controlled by men and it ain't happenin' no more! Well, there may be other things that have happened, but I can't recall it all too well right now. I don't believe in that Deja` Vuu bullshit. I think it's real. Or maybe I'm just fascinated with history...or both, ah, who cares?! Anyway, I still haven't finished reading that biography on Jim Morrison. It's a great read, yes, but it has many pages and I have little time. But the point is that his life, the way he thought and acted, it just seems like he suffered from something odd, to say the least. He was almost like a whole bunch of people in one body. There was the Lizard King that we all know and love (or love to hate, in some cases), James Douglas Morrison the poet whom could be a generally decent persom to converse and get along with, then there was the drunken, boisterous, profane Jim, and so many more. He has countless facets to his personality. I'm being pressed to get offline so I'll recount the rest of what rang through my head later...If I remember what that was! I had to go because the hs band was playing two songs and was required to go for a grade. I wanted to go anyway. I had a few senior friends and I wanted to see them graduate. I didn't cry amazingly. I was about to. I was fine until they let the graduates leave and they played theri class song. When you're going through something emotional, then they play a song you know by heart and love, it gets hard not to cry. The class song for 2007 was "Here I Go Again" - Whitesnake. It was one of those moments that you never forget if you were watching it happen. I was singing along to every word, they were walking down the aisle two by two, and when it got to the chorus the seniors started singing together as they were leaving. It was just something I'll never forget. "I don't know where I'm going, but I sure know where I've been..."

~Peace!

Song Of The Day: "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" - Guns N Roses
Quote Of The Day: "Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose" - Janis Joplin
What I'm Readin': (nothin' at the moment)

What Happened To Yesterday?!!!!

It's the last marking period and I had a book report due for language arts class. I decided to do a collage for my report and I was going to use the last book I finished: "Life On Planet Rock". I get home from school at 4:30 and I got started on my collage around 5:00.....I took no breaks and didn't finish until 10:00.....I was drained that night to say the least. But it just seems like time flew by. I had to scan four pages of my sheet music and print that out, then cut out each individual line of notes, then paste them all over the blank posterboard to make a "musical" background. I then took one of my mom's stove top covers (they're circle shaped) and with what remaining posterboard I had cut off I traced half a circle and cut it out (because there wasn't enough paper for a whole circle). I had to use another part of the paper and finish tracing the circle to get the rest of it out and then I taped the two halves together. To make this long story short, I used some images of the musicians discussed in the book and I made a collage of them and taped them on the circle and cut off the loose edges so it would remain circle shaped like a planet. I used crazy scissors when I cut out each image so it would look nicer. I then glued the "planet" in the middle of the posterboard. I scanned three photos from the book and pasted them outside "planet rock", kinda orbiting it. Then I took my scrap printer paper and drew each letter for the title individually. I capitalized each letter in "ROCK" and made them huge. I colored my letters with a black sharpie marker and cut them out with crazy scissors, then I pasted "Life On Planet" around the top of the planet and curving in a downward direction lining the planet. Then I took "ROCK" and pasted it on the bottom curving around the planet, curving in an upward direction. Then the last part was drawing the letters: "By: Lonn Friend". I colored those with a red sharpie marker (the letters were significantly smaller than the title). To finish it off I pasted that on diagonally in the bottom right corner. And the best part was that I remembered to put my name on the back. :D

~Peace

Song Of The Day: "Heart's Done Time" - Aerosmith

Trickery Behind EVERY Corner! (Yes, I'm posting from school) Their pranks were pretty normal so far: rub vaseline all over the railings and door handles, and write in blue on the seniors lockers and teacher's windows in their classroom doors. I dunno if there is more to come or not. Oh, and some middle-schoolers got into a friendly cake fight in the cafeteria. It was a huge mess that covered a fraction of one side of the cafeteria floor. Yuck, chocolate cake! I also found out that my senior friend, Ray, will be stayin' with us for another year, while Katie, Christine, and Sean will be leaving us all. Goodbye my friends, and remember: All roads lead to somewhere! I'll be sure to keep you posted if I find out about anymore crazy happenings of today.

~Peace

Song Of The Day: "Never Say Never" - Twisted Sister
What I'm Readin': (I just finished Life On Planet Rock last night, so nothing at the moment.....)

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://seijinogenki.blogspot.com/2007/05/trickery-behind-every-corner-literally.html' title='Trickery Behind EVERY Corner! My little brother made breakfast for Mom, while I got out a shoebox and had to use a whole bunch of plastic bags (because I couldn't find any shredded paper or tissue) and placed the book on Loons we had gotten her inside. (Mom loves Loons) I then coverd the surface of the book with plastic bags and wrote two poems for her and placed the poems on top and shut the box. I presented it to her after I was finished and she loved the poems and her Loon book! Later we drove to Grand Rapids for the Grand Rapids Orchestra and the Glenn Miller Orchestra concert. That was awesome! The first half was just the GR Orchestra and they played mostly tunes from the '40s and '50s. After the 15 minute intermission, the Glenn Miller Orchestra joined them and played for teh rest of the concert. They also had a few singers to join them. I can't remember the name of the male singer, but he had a great voice. I wasn't too crazy about the female singer. She was from Tennesee, I think her name was Julia Rich. Overall it was a great time! I'm gonna have to thank my english teacher! I also managed ot get over a piano song that was tough for me to play for a little while. I finally go it mostly down, and if I keep playing it a few more times it should be smoothed out or closer to it. That's all the exciting stuff that happened yesterday.

~Peace!

Song Of The Day: "No More No More" - Aerosmith
What I'm Readin': Life On Planet Rock - By Lonn Friend

All Roads Lead Somewhere....

I realize that I haven't been posting lately, but trust me on this, you didn't miss much. I took a break from piano lessons a little while bakc after I had a breakdown in the middle of the night where I cried to myself and vented out all my worries about my art, music, singing, body, etc. I am blessed with so many things to be thankful for, but I always let meaningless things build up until it can't fit anymore. I'm over it now. I took a break from piano because I was losing faith in my ability to be able to get better at it.....but that was when I remember what my band instructor had told me: "If you can talk yourself out of it, you can talk yourself into it." I'll never forget that. I'm way better now and I told my piano teacher I was ready to come back, adn next Friday will be my first lesson since I took almost a month off, and just this morning, I went into the high school office and decided to change my elective to what I really wanted to do to begin with. I figured: "screw art class, the teacher don't seem to fond of me anyway, and my heart is burning to do choir, so I'll switch." I was able to do it and I felt so much better. Another thing I'm finally starting to get over is calling myslef fat when I am actually really skinny, I just had this huge phobia of getting fat, so if I told myself I was getting fat, then I would do somethign to stop it from happening. I figure I'll just do a bunch of stretches and exercises then walk once a week. I have gotten that into a routine and I'm trying to get used to it so tehn I can stay healthy, like I am now. I realize this is getting long, but there was a lot of things that did actually happen while I was gone (I guess mmore than I thought). My english teacher also gave me tickets to see the Glenn Miller band with the Grand Rapids Symphony this Sunday because she couldn't go and she knew I loved music. This will be my first concert I go to that I'll be old enough to remember actually being there. Speaking of concerts, yesterday was my spring concert with the HS band. I think we did really well. As for drawing I still do it and I've improved much with it, but I don't see a future in it. I don't drwaw as mush as I used to. Which also reminds me of my pathetic Algebra II grade. I passed the first semester, giving me half a credit, but I am failing this one miserably. I'll probably have to do a credit recovery for the other half this summer so I don't end up taking two and a half years of math. I am also planning to buy The Sims2 finally. The part that sucks is that I'll have to play it on my mom's computer, because my laptop won't be able to run it. Oh, well. I'm also a little pissed when I checked the Aerosmith news on the site (which I hadn't done in a little while) and found out that Joe was on American Idol around April 25th! I never watch the show and I want to download the vidoe file so badly now! Damn my slow timing! I'm looking forawrd to the good times and the heartbreak, the sorrows and the joy. Until next time!

~Peace!

Song Of The Day: "Break On Through (To The Other Side)" - The Doors

What I'm Readin': The Beatles: Unseen Archives - by Tim Hill and Marie Clyton

Happy 59th Birthday, Steven Tyler!

(sorry I haven't been posting in a while and all that blah blah shit. No real reason, just lazy)A very happy birthday to Steven Tyler of Aerosmith!

Liz and I went to the marker board in band class and wrote in red marker: "Happy Birthday, Steven Tyler! - <3 - Two Aerosmith Fans: Adrenaline & D.E.N.S.E.". Today was also the start of a new marking period and all my grades went back up. I got a cassette player two days ago so I don't have to worry about damaging my CDs because my CD player is just not playing CDs anymore, just ruining them. I will listen to my cassettes until I get a new CD player, which could be a while. Other than that, not many exciting things were about today.

~Peace Out!

Song Of The Day: "Draw The Line" - Aerosmith

What I'm Readin': "Rebel Heart: A Rock & Roll Journey" - Bebe Buell

Woah!

I'm still here. I was just taking a brief break from Blogger. Lol. Okay I'll admit it, I'm getting lazy. Well I'll recap what you missed. My CD player has damaged my Bon Jovi Slippery When Wet CD and my Pat Benatar Greatest Hits CD. I became so paranoid of losing any more of my CDs to this godless machine, that I removed teh batteries, removed my CDs from their case and put them all back in their original cases and on the rack in my room, and now I am going back to using my cassette tapes so that I won't damage my CDs anymore. I will still listen to CDs, just never in a portabel CD player for a very long time. I already have to buy two new versions of my old CDs because of that bastard. Then a couple days before Valentine's Day, Corey admitted to me that he had feelings for me, I've know him for a little over fours years, and I never even knew that or even considered it a possibility. I am still a little wary about whether or not I shoudl date him, because I just got out of a relationship and now I am addicted to the feeling of being free and being able to look at whomever I desire. True I do feel lonely sometimes, but I have a lot of life ahead of me and right now I'd rather focus on my music. I also rejoined stupid myspace because a couple of friends kept bugging me to come back. So that's about all the important highlights that happened over my laziness period. Oh, I also rejoined Deviant Art, because I lost the password to my old account, so I just made a new one. I am really tired now. Peace Out!

P.S. I also found this guitar on the internet that I am really obsessed with now. I wish I could find it somewhere. All I know is that it is an ESP and I have heard rumors that it was a limited edition called "angel girl"?

Song Of The Day: "Pour Some Sugar On Me" - Def Leppard

Sometimes, To Take Guitar Lessons, You Must Consult Your Elementary Years...

I'm in computer apps class again. I have the whole hour of free time because I got the long assignment from yesterday finished yesterday. I didn't post yesterday because all I did was go to school, nothing important there, go to piano lessons after school, kill time for two hours by hanging in Carson with my mom getting lunch and picking up my brother from practice, then went to the school at six o clock for pep band for the girl's volley ball game. I was wiped when I got home. My friend Jessica left a message but I was too tired to call her back. I heard today she may have cancer because a month ago she had two ovarian cysts and when she went to get them checked yesterday, I was told they had popped and her breasts were lumpy, but they do not know if she has cancer or not. I really hope not. Today feels like a breeze compared to yesterday. All I did was go to band (enjoy that class), watch a movie on China in history, do math work (time flew by), eat lunch, watch a movie on Ebola in biology class, play on the computer all hour in computer apps, then read in english all hour (its a good book)and ride the bus home while listening to my CD player with no pressure at all...Ahh, peaceful in my opinion. I also found out that my old elementary music teacher who taught for my first and second grade years, and works at the Carson City lanes does guitar lessons! I knew she played the guitar but I didn't think she did lessons. My little brother is on the bowling league so he goes every Saturday morning, and I used to tag along with him to visit Paul. (after he broke up wiht me I hardly ever come along anymore). I'll just go tomorrow morning and ask Amy if I would be able to take lessons from her. That is all the exciting and close to exciting things that happened today so far. OH, MY!

Chris got eyeliner put on him when he fell asleep in math! It was hillarious because he had to go to lunch that way too. Right after lunch he ran to wash the eyeliner off, but if you're a girl, you know there is no easy way to get that shit off your face. I had pure confidence in it lasting to see english class (last class of the day). I was right. The sad part about this was, he really DID look like a girl with the eyeliner. For World History class, I decided to do my report for this last semester (theme being a Mystery In History) on the murder of John Lennon because even though the murderer claimed to be insane, to this day there are only thoeries as to why he did it. Last semester was a biography report so I did that on Aerosmith. (and I got a perfect 100% on it! So did Liz, who did J.R.R Tolkien.) I tried writing a song in biology class, but my train of thought was derailed when class ended and I had to go to computer apps class after that and I couldn't focus. I wrote half of this entry in computer apps class with the leftover time I had after finishing the assignment, but still ran out of time so I finished it at home afterward.

Song Of The Day:"Night Songs" - Cinderella

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://seijinogenki.blogspot.com/2007/01/history-class-breeze.html' title='Eyeliner, Mysteries, And....Stuff. At least I passed. The other classes were a breeze though. We finally had the chair tests in band class and I ended up getting ninth chair (which I was surprised with, I thought I would get worse) out of twelve flutes total. I have three people behind me which is new to me because I was used to being in second chair(also last)and being the only flute player that actually wanted to be in band and played. I am not used to sitting in the middle and actually being in a good chair. I'm happy with how I did. Not bad for a freshman! I have a senior, and two sophmores (or one sophmore and junior) behind me. The news story can be found at: http://www.woodtv.com/Global/story.asp?S=5927029&nav=menu44_2 . In world history class we do a thing called a journal report. We write about a news report we seen and write a response to it. Here is my journal report that I handed in today:
Adeline Richards, 2nd Hour, World History Class, Journal Assignment, 1/11/07

Date: 1/11/07

Location: Hubbardston, MI

Found At: (watched it on television and also found it on the internet) http://www.woodtv.com/Global/story.asp?S=5927029&nav=menu44_2

Event: Billie Cunningham (80 years old) died on December 1st 2006. At first it appeared as though she had fell off a step ladder hanging Christmas decorations and shattered a huge mirror, got cut, and bled to death. After the scene had been inspected it was revealed that it couldn’t have possibly been an accident. "Although we're not calling it a homicide, we are certainly treating it as such today," Said Dwain Dennis, Ionia County Sheriff. Her family didn’t believe it was an accident and neither did some of the people who were there to take care of the scene. By the pattern of the blood and the location of the Santa Claus statue after it had been thrown or pushed, the investigators don’t believe it was an accident either. They are currently investigating the case and have a person of interest, but have not reported any suspects thus far.

Response: The lack of information and detail of the televised report is almost sickening. I can’t believe it took this long to even be put in the news. I have known Billie since I was born and she knew my mother way before that. I can’t believe this happened to her…She was always kind to everyone and she always had a special treat bag for me and my brother on Halloween…I still remember the last time I talked to her at the old Hubbardston elementary school that is now the Hubbardston Community Center…When I saw the report on the news. I felt numb, partly because I still don’t believe it, and because it felt weird to see something that affects my life more directly than other reports on television because I am not used to seeing things like that happen. The most sad thing about this is that Billie would have forgiven whoever did this to her. I hold no hate for the person that has done this, but they don’t realize the ripples they start when they throw a stone into a pond. If you affect one person in some way, you will indirectly affect the others around them until the disturbance comes back to you full circle. Others call this karma. I believe in it. This quote is only proof that law enforcement either don‘t like doing their job in Hubbardston, or they just don‘t care: “The sheriff tells 24 Hour News 8 that he hopes in the end detectives prove this was an accident.”. Knowing how law enforcement is slow in Hubbardston for anything that happens (probably just because we are Hubbardston and they think they can be slow because of that), it may take a very long time for them to solve this case, but I know one day it will be solved, it just means the pond the ripples are in may be an ocean and it will take longer for them to reach their creator.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This was the news report:
Suspicious death in Ionia County
Updated: Jan 11, 2007 06:28 PM EST

Billie Cunningham

Billie Cunningham's House
HUBBARDSTON -- Tragic accident or homicide? That is what detectives in Ionia County are trying to figure out after new evidence surfaced in the early December death of a lifelong resident in the small town of Hubbardston.
She was a pillar of the community. Billie Cunningham was born and raised in Hubbardston.
"She knew everybody. Everybody knew her," Julie Cunningham, Billie's daughter, told 24 Hour News 8.
But when authorities ruled Billie's December 1 death an accident, the family had questions.
"Thought it was strange...just couldn't believe what we we're being told about it being an accident," says Julie.
And now, investigators are questioning those findings, too.
"Although we're not calling it a homicide, we are certainly treating it as such today," Ionia County Sheriff Dwain Dennis said.
Billie Cunningham was found dead in the home she grew up in and raised her family in on Washington Street. Was it an accident?
That seemed to make the most sense to investigators in the beginning. They theorized she was on a step ladder hanging Christmas decorations when she fell into a large mirror. The mirror broke, cutting Cunningham. She then bled to death.
But the family's persistence for detectives to not close the case led them to new evidence.
"Some things have come to light since then that have caused us to take a fresh look at this case," says the sheriff.
One example is a broken ceramic Santa Claus.
"The position of that Santa Claus has raised some questions as to whether or not the owner of the home could have left that ceramic Santa Claus in the position that it was in," adds Sheriff Dennis.
The location of blood from the victim has also led to some new questions.
So were investigators too quick to jump to conclusions early on in the case? The sheriff admits his department got off to a slow start.
As for the victim's family, "It would have been nice if they had moved faster, but it's being taken care of now, and that's what's important," says Julie.
The sheriff tells 24 Hour News 8 that he hopes in the end detectives prove this was an accident.
Investigators are still questioning people, and Sheriff Dennis is calling one of those a person of interest. No arrests have been made.
If you have any information about this case, you are asked to call the Ionia County Sheriff's Department or Silent Observer.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Exams are next week, so I'll be busy, but I'll try to post if I get the chance.

Song Of The Day: "Lights" - Journey

Moment Of Truth...

I haven't been posting lately because I have been studying for exams that are coming up. The exams will be over after next week so we'll see how things go then. Tomorrow is the chair tests in band class (finally)! We have to play at least five scales (easy, our class learned ten to pass band last year), sight read, and play areas of our Christmas music that Mr. Parmenter will select. I'll be sure to tell you what chair I get once I find out. The exam for world history class is easy. We were notified about it on the very first day of school and ever since then I have been working on it. It is a biography report on anyone you like as long as you can find at least one book for a source and show how they were proactive. I did my report on Aerosmith! Well, nothing else has happened that was worth writing about. Sayonara! She originally had some plan for her, me, Chris, and Tyler to go over to Paul's house for a little get-together that we have every once in a while. She kept relaying information to me everytime she found out something new and she found out Paul had school and his winter break was over so it turned into a get-together at her house instead of Paul's. My mom was at a meeting and to make a long story short she said "No". But it wouldn't have bothered me at much if Jessica didn't have to call everytime I was doing something important to me. She interrupted me playing guitar twice out of three times, two times while I was coloring, twice while I was playing Cultures 2: The Gates Of Asgard, and twice while I was spinning in the computer chair with my headphones on (When you call me while I have headphones on, I'm in another world, so when I am interrupted, you had better be dying otherwise I'll fix that for you). Overall I was annoyed. And right now as I type this, I am talking to her through Yahoo IM and thinking there is no way to escape her.... After this I am gonna practice for my piano lessons tomorrow. You should probably hear from me sometime around then. It was pretty much a normal stay and nothing super happened. Sometime around one in the afternoon my mom had me get the kittens (Maxine had three kittens about a month and a half ago) and put them in a box so we could drive them to the animal shelter. We didn't really want to do it, but we couldn't keep them all and feed them, so we had to. As I set them in the box mom asked me in a whisper: "Do you want to keep the one you asked about?" I said "Yes" and pulled her out of the box and placed her back on the floor, glad that at least one of them didn't have to go through the trauma of being driven in the car and dropped off to a cage and never see us again. Halfway there, in the car, I started to smell an awful smell and figured one of the kittens had went to the bathroom in the box. That was before I heard a bubbling gurgling noise. Then I knew that one had puked and the other was following suite. It smelled horrible and we had to open two windows to get rid of the stench. After they puked I opened the box a bit wider so the kittens could get some fresh air and due to pure human curiousity...I looked at the cat puke. I noticed there was what looked like a long thread of mozarella cheese, then it moved and I realized it was a worm. I watched it coil into a circle and slowly wiggle amongst itself. It was disturbing(because I hate maggots and it is similar), cool(because it was gross), and a little saddening (because I acknowledged that it came from the kitten) all at once. So the kittens wouldn't step in the puke, I pulled them both out and I held onto one while Liz held onto the other. We finally made it to the animal shelter and after we got out and my mom spoke to Gordy (the dog warden) and he told her that the shelter wasn't open today. She had checked a paper or site or something that said it was, but she must have read it wrong because they would be open tomorrow. So by then Alex had already thrown away the box the cats puked in and we had no way of keeping them in one place in the car so they wouldn't be scared, so Gordy let us borrow a pet carrier after he poured the water out of the bottom of it. It was still wet and the air was so cold outside that my heart told me not to put them in it, but I had to. Then when we got to the back of the car, I told mom there was water in it and she made us hold the cats while she threw a thick, plaid blanket in there over the wet bottom so the cats would be warm and comfortable. I felt better after that. We drove home, put the cats back in the house, and I spent the rest of the day up until now by listening to my CD player while spinning in the computer chair.

Song Of The Day: "Living On A Prayer" - Bon Jovi

2007: Another Year Worth Living

Happy New Year To Everyone! It's 2007 now and the Chinese New Year of the Boar/Pig is upon us. It was a blast at Katie's! Jessica, Hillary, Sean, Andy, Katie (obviously, because she lives there), and I spent most of the time talking and laughing our asses off at each other's comments and stories. We watched "V For Vendetta", talked some more, watched the ball drop, then watched "Pirates Of The Carribean: Curse Of The Black Pearl". During all of this there are various flashes from digital and disposable cameras trying to catch every stupid thing we do. Hillary is constantly shouting "Moovie!!!" and pointing to the screen when we start talking too much. After Pirates we played DDR (Dance Dance Revolution). Sean played on his feet twice, then decided to cheat for the rest of the game by using his hands (and he still got D's and E's...Mostly E's). Then we all went to bed. This morning we all took photos and then before we all left we took two group photos. Then we all went home. I don't think much else is gonna be happening today that I know of. Happy New Year!

Song Of The Day: "Photograph" - Nickelback

Train Is Finally Rollin'

I started my morning with a healthy hour of spinning in the computer chair listening to Motley Crue's "Dr. Feelgood" album and then after that I got to work on weeding out the lyric mess leftover from the old band. I deleted the ones that had nothing going for them and I put a little work into the ones I wanted to save (there is really nothing anyone else in the band can say about what I do with the lyrics because no one helped me write them except me. Jessica worked on one with me, but I ended up trashing it.). So now I'm back on track lyric-wise and I have been writing some short guitar riffs and saving them in a notebook where I currently have them written as tablature only because I don't have room to put the notes on the staff next to them. I am planning on going to Katie's house with Hillary and Jessica and we are gonna have a little New Year's Eve party of our own. I'm bringing a cheeseball! Whee! Jessica might bring sugar cookies and Hillary is bringing chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. So I don't think you'll be hearing from me in the next day or two until I get home because we are all spending the night at Katie's too. The reasons were many and I believe I listed them before. I want to be a musician as my career. I can only hope I can find others who share the same dream. I am still young and have a lot of time to do it, but I can't help but feel rushed. Maybe it's because this world is just faster paced than it used to be. I'm hoping to get ahold of Mr. Edwards so I can ask him who that guy is in Carson that gives guitar lessons because I can play guitar but I'm stuck on a few things and I need some help. Piano is going fine and I just went up another level in the books again. (they seem to be flyin' by at the rate I go through them) There is a long road ahead of me and I am sure many unexpected and twisting things will occur, but for the record I want to be in a band that plays well and stays together for a long time, and I'm hoping that Liz will be the drummer because I love her, she kicks ass on any percussion instrument (I've heard her play, I ain't just sayin' that), and because I would like to be with my best friend for the rest of my life or close to it. But that is only if she wants to do it, I'd never force someone to do something, I don't have it in me to do that to someone. Like they say: If you want to hear God laugh, tell him your plans. Here's to dreaming, working for it, and making it. To myself and every dreamer that still has a dream: I wish the best!

Song Of The Day: "Cry Tough" - Poison

What the hell is going on?

Well, yesterday I was spinning in a computer chair listening to Bon Jovi's "Slippery When Wet" album, when I got a headache about four songs in. I ignored it, finished the Bon Jovi CD, then moved on to "The Best Of Poison 20 Years Of Rock" CD. The damn headache stayed until I went to sleep and couldn't recall anything after that. Then I woke up this morning. I was fine, and then I spun in the computer chair, put headphones on and listened to a CD and the headache was faint. I cleaned my room all day today and then I danced for about half an hour when I finished. The harder I danced, the warmer I got, and the warmer I got, the harder my head pounded (I swear I could hear the pounding inside my head it seemed so loud). The damn thing came back! Then it went away after a while (which was only about a couple hours ago). It wasn't the spinning in the chair part because I have been doing that since I was six. I think it might have been my sleeping patterns where I have been going to bed totally burned out and waking up around noon or eleven. Since my headache is gone again I hope it doesn't come back. I'll see what happens and find out.

Song Of The Day: "I Am The Walrus" - The Beatles

New Revelations....

Yeah, I'm still alive and I apologize for this absense..I have been overcoming a few things that were complicating my life. I'll give you the story on things that happened while I was away. Okay, Paul broke up with me on November 20th and his reason was because he didn't feel the same. It was a week's worth of sadness and tears, but I let him go and didn't force him to do something he didn't want to. I got a laptop for Christmas so I'll be using that now. I quit the band I was in because I wanted to write and play music that was different from what Jessica wanted to sing and I wasn't gonna force her to sing something her heart wasn't in. In Hubbardston there are very few people left who have lived in the town all their life (I am one of them but my life hasn't been that long) and an old lady who has known my mom for ages and me since birth named Billie died recently. That one is a long story but after her body was taken care of and the scene was looked at, they say she didn't have a heart attack and fall...The police and the medical examiner say she was murdered...Things like this don't usually happen in a microscopic town like this, sure we have our share of vandals and neighbors convicted of CSC, but no murders. Here is proof that it can happen anywhere. Jessica's birthday was around the beginning of December, she invited everyone just like last year, but i was the only one who showed up. So we spent the time drinking Sour Apple Pucker and flipping through a Rockabilia magazine and eating cake and playing with Ziggy (her cornsnake). Nothing else new that is major....I guess I'll tell you what I got for Christmas since I missed that day too. I got my laptop, Styx Greatest Hits (CD), Trapt: Someone In Control (CD), System Of A Down: Toxicity (CD), Journey Live In Houston 1981 Escape Tour DVD+CD Collector's Edition (DVD+CD), Aerosmith: Permanent Vacation Live In Philadelphia (DVD), The Beatles Love (CD), and Styx And The Contemporary Youth Orchestra Of Cleveland (DVD). Well In case I don't post before then, Happy New Year!

Song Of The Day: "Don't Stop Believing" - Journey

Sex Ed, Confessions, And A Little Game Of Truth Or Dare...

As the title hints, that is about how the party wiht my friends went. It was really fun! It had to be one of the best days of my life ever! At about 2:00 PM on August 23rd Paul, Jessica, and Corey arrived at my house. We screwed around and threw things at each other like friends do, then we went ot Main Street Pizza at about 6:30 and ate there. Then we headed to Rainbow Gardens Roller Rink in Crystal at 7:00. Skating was fun and Elizabeth finally showed up a little after 7:00 so she was just in tiem for skating. Jessica really didn't want to skate but she lost a bet in a game of pool while we were there: If the girls win, Jessica gets to skate once, and if the guys win, she skates twice. The girls won, but Jessica skated more than once. It took almost the whole 2 and a half hours we were there to get her to overcome her fear of skating but we did it. After that we dropped Corey off at his house and Jessica, Paul, and Elizabeth stayed over night. The next day we went in the basement and hung out in the crawl-space and played truth or dare. I got a lot of truths and dares from Paul asking me to define "orgasm" and other such things because he actually didn't know what they were. We also had truths and dares that were used by other people to find out the other's secrets. and The highlight of that round of truth or dare was when we decided to give Paul a makeover. He kept resisting until he finally gave in. Jessica, Elizabeth and I did his makeup and he asked us if we could do a gothic look because he had never done it before. So, we made Paul look like a goth (and I even got a photo of it!) and it actually turned out pretty good. Then right after we did Paul's makeup, it was time for everyone to leave. Overall, I had a great time!

Song Of The Day: "A Little Less Sixteen Candles A Little More Touch Me" - Fall Out Boy

The 14th Time Around

Today I turn 14 years old. Whee! Okay now that I have that out of the way I will recap what happened when we went camping (we are just home for a little bit but we are going back). Maynard (the kitten that we were feeding with an eyedropper) ended up dying, I finally got my cell phone, and that is about all the events that happened that even had meaning. I am kinda stuck on another thing where if I find out when a concert is going to be I will want to go really bad and my mother always says "no" to it. Previous times were the Final Fantasy: Dear friends concert, another symphony concert where they were playing music from Halo and Halo 2, Final Fantasy, I think Mario Bros., and other video game music. she said no to all of them. yesterday I was looking at the places and dates for the Aerosmith 2006 US Route of all Evil Tour and one of them is in Detroit, Michigan and the tickets are on sale. It occurs October 11th 2006. I asked her if I could possibly go and she said she didn't know and would see what we were doing on that day. Which I know almost definetely means "no"... They won't be around forever and they will probably be finished with concerts by the time I graduate. All I can do is wait until I leave home to see a concert at all...There won't be any good bands around once I graduate....yes I am depressed now that I have thought about this topic....until next time....

Song of the Day: "Amazing" - Aerosmith

I Actually Had A Reason This Time

I have a real reason why I wasn't posting for a little while. I had marching band camp and I was very tired after going from 8am - 5pm every day in the heat that was well over 105 degress farenheight, then we went camping while I was also in the middle of band camp. My cat, Maxine, had also had her kittens finally. She had three but two died of starvation because her milk dried up completely after the first few days. The remaining kitten is still alive after we have fed him with an eyedropper and since my sister had twins we borrowed her baby formula. The kitten's name is Maynard and he is about 2 weeks old now and his eyes are starting to open. It is good that he has made it this far, so let's hope he can live long enough to eat on his own. Since my mother is gone taking a test at the hospital (it's nothing serious it's a sleeping thing) I have to wake up and feed Maynard every couple hours in the night, but I'm fine with that, in a way it's almost like a human child except a little less work. My birthday is coming up and my mother may let me have a cell phone. The kaleidoscope future is an unfolding revelation...(yes I made that up, I have always wanted to say something cool like that!) We are going to leave again to go camping after my piano lesson tomorrow. I am sleepy but bored so I am typing this post whilist trying to stay concious. More work has been done on my room in the past three days too. I think the scariest question will be how many gallons total of paint were used on everything in my room that I painted. O_o That would probably be a pretty big number. My parents asked me what I wanted for my birthday this year...Well it was a tempting thought because there was about three things I was currently drooling over: Guild Wars (PC game), one of Tool's CD's (music CD), and a cell phone. I decided I could always get the Tool CD and Guild Wars another time. For almost two years my mother has complained about the phone bill being so high because all my friends are long distance, so I bugged her to let me get a cell phone and share a plan with her cell phone. When she asked what I wanted for my birthday I decided to ask for a cell phone. With my luck she will probably let me get my eyebrow pierced before I get a cell phone (my mom won't even let me get my eyebrow pierced). A cell phone would make things easier. Well I am getting sleepy. I hate the color black, but when I was choosing layouts, it seemed to be the only one closest to what I wanted so I chose it despite it's color. I don't have much to say except that I'm in the creative mood and my imagination is cranking out short stories, ideas, characters and all things under such categories right now. I am managing to survive my camping with the aid of my CD player, a swingset, and my beloved movies. For old times' sake I played Tomb Raider III yesterday. I felt like I was seven years old again when I was in my aunt's basement playing Tomb Raider I and II with my cousins. Funny how those memories seem far away...Well, I guess that's all I have to recall for now. Last time I at least had Paul to accompany me for two days out of eight, but it kept me from crying my eyes out of boredom. I have started to like it there a little bit more, but it is getting harder to entertain myself as I get older...I truly enjoy swinging and listening to my CD Player at the same time. (I love CD's and iPod's suck because they are some technologic piece of shit, don't get me started on 'em I hate them and refused to get one when I was asked if I wanted one when my brother got his) But It is getting hard to even do that up there because I will swing about 2 or 3 times a day and I sit for about 2 hours each time so I survive off AA batteries, CD's, and a swing set that sits way too low for me and makes all my toes on my right foot go numb. I have a burn on my arm from the chain rubbing against my skin from the back-and-forth rythm. I tried throwing the swing over the set one time so I could raise it a little, but I swing on it too long and it causes the chain to grind and after four days of multiple visits on the same swing, the chain finally snapped. I got another burn from the chain running along my arm when it snapped. That has to be the fifth time I have broken a swing (first in public though). The other four have happened at home on a 20+ year old swing set. That swing breaking must be telling me that I'm getting too old: Currently I'm a month away from 14 years old, I weigh 115 lbs, and I stand at 5 feet, and 2 and a half inches. I consider myslef short because I am the little person amongst all my friends and have lost all hope of getting taller. I see being short as a sign of inferiority of myself, the same thing goes for me being physically weak and not being able to play any sport in existence well enough to enjoy it. (I have been told that I am a pretty fast runner though, but I wouldn't last a day in track because all the track girls are bitches and joining track isn't worth the harassment) I think I have bashed myself enough for now....I don't want to get onto depressing topics such as what I have previously discussed, but I do not have much to say, because I am bored at the moment and I usually depress myself when I get bored because I cannot think of anything to do. Tomorrow I leave for the "Campground from Hell", but thankfully I have piano lessons before that so I have something to look forward to. I won't be able to post on here for a few days because there is no internet where I'm going but I'll be back to tell you how it went. And I am curious if anyone reads these ramblings, I'm beginning to wonder if I'm just typing to myself here. Please comment just to say you at least visited this blog, it would make me feel happy. (for once) I was gone camping for about 10 days so I just got back. But sadly I will only be homw for about two days because we have doctor appointments and stuff and then we will return to camping. I am starting to like the Snows Lake Campground a bit more though. I used to hate it and then we got a seasonal lot (permanent one) and I am getting used to it. I wrote two more songs (lyrics only) while I was camping and left them up there by accident! At least I'm going back anyway. My birthday is coming up again and I plan to make it fun for me this year. My mom wants there to be a day for the family to celebrate it so I will do that, then afterward I will have a day where I invite Paul, Elizabeth, and Jessica and we will have cake and ice cream, hopefully go to the roller rink together, then hang out and have a sleepover type thingy after that. That is how I plan it but I can tell you right now my plans can never go through completely how I planned them. I also had an idea for the cake. I am still unsure of the frosting color but I want to decorate it with gummi bears and worms and write Paper Clip on it in the frosting. My room is still in progress as far as redoing it goes. I have a wall and a half stripped of wallpaper. I have more to go. I have the paint and all that good stuff, I just need the time for it. Well, thanks for reading!

Word of the Day: "Orestes - (O-res-tes) The son of Agamemnon and Clytemnestra, who with his sister Electra avenged the murder of his father by murdering his mother and her lover Aegisthus." We are still working on our name and may decide it in a few days. We are short one or two guitars (bass excluded), I have written three songs (lyrics only), and we still need to get together and discuss how or leadership is going to be. If we decide to have a leader in our band or if we are all responsible as a group. Even if we do decide on a name though I will not release it on here for there are many skanky name thiefs ot there just waiting for something to..uh..theive/steal/take away/...whatever.... So that is my reason for not posting our band name when we decide on it. But I will give an update when we do decide on our name. Tomorrow is the Fourth of July, so incase I do not post then, I'll say it now. I apologize to my blog for neglecting you. *pets blog* Well many things have happened: my school year is over so I'm on summer break now, I'll be going to Paul's house on the 7th to spend the night and celebrate his birthday the next day, I had spent the night at Paul's house three days in a row a few weeks back, and that's about all I can recall. I just realized that not once have I ever mentioned in my blog or journals that I see a shrink. Well I guess I never thought much of it but oh well... July is the last month I will be able to see my shrink, then after that I just have to hope that I am better. I believe I can make it. It's my last visit because she is moving to Ann Arbor and is going to work in a hospital over there. Well I did finally write one song (lyrics only) for the band I'm in(another thing I never mentioned...), but I dont think it is very good so I may trash it before I show it to the rest of the members. We haven't thought of a name yet, we keep debating over it. I'll tell you the lineup: Elizabeth is on drums, I'm on keyboard, Jessica is the lead vocalist, Paul is the bass guitar, and this is the funny part:we are a rock band and we don't have any guitar players (other than bass)! I always laugh at that. Well, I guess your hear more from me once I update again! (which will hopefully be sooner than I have been lately) Until next time! *waves*

Yay!!!!

Well recently my school has had about three or four bomb scares in a row and it was getting pretty old. We were already in lockdown and after the last one we had, we were put in lockdown for the rest of the year...sadly that also meant that everyone else in the school had to suffer because we couldn't have our dance that is held by the student government. But I never thought I would say that the pom team saved my life.....but they did! They decided to host a dance, and they were allowed to! The even better news, you may ask? The dance is May 5th 2006! I must live it fully!

Moo...

Hello, and I have returned. Nothing important has happened that I feel like writing about so Im not gonna recollect past events since my last post. There have been times when I thought about writing but I was just too lazy too. The events that have occured would be the 3rd marking period dance at school. (Paul went with me, naturally) It was fun because I was also on the student government that time and I was on the dance comittee so I got to help with decorations and stuff. Our band class went to festival agian this year...I was kinda sad when we did because flashbacks from last year kept returning and Paul had started going to a different school this year but we still keep in touch. We ended up getting a 2 (the highest you can get is 1) for a rating. The high schoolers got a 1 and they got to shave Mr.Parmenter's head (band director). He said that is the first 1 our school has had since 1984! O_o wow, 22 years...We must really suck then...no, I kid we still do good. Now solo ensemble is coming up this Saturday and I am participating in it. I am a little nervous and am unsure of what rating I think I may get so all I can do is practice and hope.

Another I'll Never Forget!

Yesterday I went to Paul's but the events changed a little (for the better). You see I remembered the Elizabeth had gotten ungrounded from everything except gameboy, tv, internet, and any other video games. So I told Paul that she was free and could go over to friends' houses agian. He wanted her to see his play so badly (I don't blame him after he hasn't been able to talk or see her since about some time near the end of summer vacation) so he invited her at the last minute. We stopped at Liz's house, picked up Liz, then headed for Paul's house. We hung around there for a little while, then we headed to his Grandmother's house where we played a little of D&D, and a few other board games. Then we killed some more time by laughing our asses off and joking around. Then it was time for the play. THe play was called "The Jolly Roger and the Pirate Queen". It lasted for almost 2 hours, but I thought it was a great play (hillarious too)! THen we went out for pizza, dropped Elizabeth off, then dropped Paul off at my house where he was gonna spend the night. He is still asleep right now. Elizabeth is supposed to be coming over today after her church gets out. That should be around noon or 1:00 PM, I don't know somewhere around there.

Yay!!!!!!

I'm gonna go to Paul's house tomorrow!!! I will go to the bowling alley at 9:30 AM, go home with him around noon, kill time at his house, go to his play, and then he'll drop me off at home. I plan to give him that kazoo that Elizabeth gave me over two months ago that she got for him, his valentine's day present (Kingdom Hearts manga volume 1 and 2), and use up the last 3 pictures in my camera. (Then I can get the film developed and add more photos to my scrapbook) I also plan to give him A Valentine's day kiss! I won't be able to see him on Valentine's day, so I'll just pretend tomorrow is Valentine's day...I get to celebrate it before anyone else!!! Some important events that have occured since I have last written would be: 1. I finally got 1st chair in band! 2. I brought my scrapbook back to life and I have started to work on it again! 3. I am on the dance committee this marking period and we are working on the Classic Rock/Black and White theme. Formal attire is the attendors choice, there will be blakc and white musical notes hanging from the ceiling and black and white band logos and posters on the wall. The DJ's will most likely be Mark and Tony. It is most likely going to be on March 10th, 2006. I plan to invite Paul (and maybe this time Jessica might be eligible for this one)!

wow...

I haven't been writing for a while. But I have been dealing with alot. Sorry about the absence. I am so happy that the dance is this Friday (yes, Friday the 13th of January)! I'm elligible so I'm going. Paul moved to Stanton over the summer but his mom is letting him keep in touch with his friends. My principal is so nice, he let's Paul come to the dances even though he goes to another school. I informed Paul of the dance so hopefully he'll be able to make it. Jessie and Sam O. are inelligible so the only friends of mine that will probably be there will be Elizabeth, Chris and Corey. I'll still have fun. At the beginning of last year we had chair tests in band class. Someone was kind enough to puch me in the chest before my test so (as you can guess) it hurt to breathe. This was vital since I played flute. I wasn't surprised that I lost to another flute player. I was in second and the other flute player was in third chair. I wasn't feelin too bad about it. this year the third chair girl went to a different school and I went to second and last chair. Monday we finally had this years chair test. I had practiced the whole week before and memorized all the key signature's for my scales. (this time I could manage breathing) I did what felt ot me as my best when it was my turn. I played all four of my scales (memorized), the selected parts form my Xmas music, and my sightreading challenge. Today the results werer upon the door. I wasn't the least bit surprised. I had lost...again. I guess it wouldn't have hurt so bad but the other flute doesn't even care about being in band, her mom forced her to do it after she tried it in the sixth grade and asked to quit, she doesn't even practice anymore, and she has disliked me since elementary. What makes me mad is that I tried so hard for first chair and she didn't do shit and she got it. It wouldn't have bothered me but she had to be sarcastically happy for me the rest of the fucking day. It pisses me off because music is my only true release from pain, and when she interferes it makes me want to maime the next person I encounter, friend or foe. Well that about wraps up today.

Word of the Day
Martyr: One who dies for his/her beliefs.

Happy Birthday to me!

Today is my birthday! Finally I'm 13! My mom got me the Clamp No Kiseki: Cardcaptor Sakura book vol.1 and it comes with three bonus chess pieces. They are so cute! I have Mokona eating an apple from Tsubassa and Magic Knight Rayarth (white pawn), Sakura Kinomoto in her first battle costume (the pink one) from Cardcaptor Sakura (white queen), and Mokodona holding a cup and long-neck bottle of sake from XXX Holic (black pawn). There are twelve volumes total (vol.1 cost $30.00) so it may take me a while to get all of the pieces. This year I wanted to have carrot cake as my birthday cake. I smelled it after it came out of the oven. Then after a few minutes I went back and smelled it. I kept stopping whatever I was doing to smell the carrot cake after a few minutes. For ice cream we have neapolitan and butter pecan. You know wht relly makes me mad? Whenever we go to buy ice cream for a party or something I never see a contianer or box of stawberry flavored ice cream. I have never seen it in my life. Never by itself (only in with neopolitan). I will have seen everything when I have seen a container or box of strawberry flavored ice cream. I have to stop talking about food because it is making me hungry. Hmmm... I believe I have run out of things to say. Until next time!

Where I have Been

It's been awhile since I've posted! x_x Well now it is the middle of summer vacation and I'm pretty much bored. A lot of good things have happened though. I have started playing the piano again (not taking lessons I'm just playing it for fun) and I beat Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille Zur Macht! Now I can play episode II! I found out about a new site that I can legally download free music and AMVs also. It is called Ares Lite. I got into the habit of making homemade playing cards. I have made almost seven decks. Deck 1: Final Fantasy (FF7 through FF11). Deck 2: Sailor Moon. Deck 3: Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. Deck 4: Kingdom Hearts. Deck 5: Fruits Basket (currently unfinished due to lack of knowledge of characters and I don't want to spoil who is the spirit of what). Deck 6: Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille Zur Macht. Deck 7: Rurouni Kenshin (currently in progress). I also found a neat virtual pet site called GoPets. If you want a pet (duh) you have to download the GoPets client thingy to use it. I haven't tried it yet but you can buy clothes, wigs, and accessories for your pet and make it wear them. I'll add that to the linklist. My neopet QuatreRebabreWinner is going to pay a visit to my blog. Here he is
Well bye now!

That shell can kiss my glass!

Yay! Tonight was the last dance of the school year! Everyone had fun and I finally broke my shell (wall that separates me from humanity)! Hillary, Brooke, and Sam helped with that problem. I also slow danced two times with Paul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We danced to "Crazy" by KC & JoJo and the second was (I think it is called "Hero"). It goes "I can be your hero baby!". I don't know who sings it though. They played hardly any country. The only country songs they played were "Save a Horse" by Big&Rich and "Here for the Party" by Gretchen Wilson. Brooke and I danced better when they played country songs. Sam helped out a lot with trying to teach me to dance. I knew how to slow dance and do the Macarina and that was about it. (they didn't have the hokey-pokey or the chicken dance or the Crocodile Rock) It was still fun though. I have gotten rid of "Image of the Day". I am getting bored with it. Tonight has made my weekend!

What heaven is made of

Yesterday at 10:00 PM the band class went on the trip! Alaina sat in the seat in front of us and when Hillary woke me up she said that we looked cute. Not much has happened today.

Image of the Day: A quiz result for a quiz I took. The highlight of today was talking to Paul on the phone. I realize that on my last post I forgot to include the "Word of the day". I think I may quit doing the "Word of the day for a while. I have a hard time choosing a good word, then I have to find the dictionary (usually misplaced somewhere), then get the typing to be similar to the definition. I think I'll just do "Image of the day" instead. (You may have realized that this boredom has drove me to greater insanity) Well... Near the end of the year the band class always has some sort of trip. Last year we (middle school only) went to Montcalm Community College and stayed ther until 6:00 A.M! We went swimming, sang karaoke, ate pizza, drank pop, horsed around in the gym, and a lot of other stuff. We voted again this year and decided we would do it again! The day we are going is Friday, May 6th! I am so excited! All three of my friends are in band too so it will be really great! Last year I fell asleep on the bus ride home. Maybe if I sit with Paul on the way back I can "accidentally" fall asleep on his shoulder . ^_^ I can't help it I love him!

Ahh, the joys of questing

Yesterday I bought some KoNfUsEd RaInBoW sOcKs (404 gold) on Gaia. They look great on my avatar! Now I am questing for Black Catscratch pants (I think they were 1200 gold). It is gonna be a while before I see my avatar wearing them. I also bought "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within" ($5.00) from Carson City Video Express. I had quested for a long time for that movie. It was great! The ending is kind of sad. I even watched all of the credits because I was so stunned by the movie that I was in shock because it was so awesome. I definetly reccommend this movie to anyone and everyone. Now I have to wait for "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children" to come out. I need to earn enough money (about $20.00) to buy "Nausicca of the Valley of the Wind" two-disc special edition. It is a Miyazaki film and all of his films are good. I own "Spirited Away". I have seen "Kiki's Delivery Service" and "Princess Mononoke". I have never known of a Miyazaki film to dissapoint anyone.

Word of the day: Edam - (cheese) [[after Edam, Netherlands]] a mild, yellow cheese.

Writer's Block

Hmmmm... I shall list the most dramatic "accidents".
1. Swinging really fast and high then falling out and landing against the wooden fence. X_X (painful)

2. Opening my window to let in a breeze wile I read a book...then it falls on my head and shoulders pinning me under it (because someone didn't fix it). >_<
> 3. Having Mike knock Elizabeth onto my head while I am sitting and she is standing. My neck and left side of my head throbbed like a horses heart. I also downloaded (yet another) KH2: Deep Dive video. This one is a music video. The song was "Whisper" sung by Evanescence. First, my favorite male character from Fire Emblem is Lucius . My favorite female character is Florina . I am a Final Fantasy freak so don't get me started. I have more manga than I have teeth. I like to write run-on sentences that always start with "I". The flute is the musical instrument that I play. Nobuo Uematsu is my idol. I have a boyfriend that I love very much (I love you Paul!). I make little to no sense. My slogan is: "Gimme the Dictionary and no one gets hurt...". I like to listen to country music.
